When God first laid this concept on my heart, all I could think about was rebelling against sin. The more I pondered on it, the more I realized how small I was thinking.

Rebellion would be anything contrary to God. This state of not being rebellious is not a one-time thing but a daily fight. Let me add that this fight would be impossible without His Spirit.

There is nothing new under the sun. The culture will always be contrary to what God says. We ultimately like to do what pleases us and God untimely wants us to die to those desires.

Don’t be afraid to be a rebel and live your life rebelling against the things that do not please God.

I’ll leave you with this, as you are rebelling: lean on the Holy Spirit and let Him produce these fruits in your life—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
